MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

Greetings LMAR-FW members. The new year brings changes in your association, specifically, some new officers. Your new LMAR-FW President is Scott Sadler, Vice-President is Guy Kerrick, Secretary remains Marie Jones and Treasurer remains Randy Cozart. If you do not know some of these people, please introduce yourself to them. Ernest Brown remains the Programs Committee Chair and he really hit a home run with this month’s program. It was a cold January morning; however, 31 members and guests came out and witnessed a wonderful presentation by Kristin Jaworski, Trail Boss of The Herd from the Fort Worth Stockyards. She shared with the group how it started in 1999 and details of the events. She described some promotional travels of The Herd, even out of state, and logistics of operating The Herd. In closing, I would like to thank outgoing President Bob Burt for 2 years of his leadership through a number of association trials and tribulations. Your leadership will be missed.
